Groot Sleutelfontein Private Game Reserve is situated near the picturesque Victorian town of Prince Albert in the Great Karoo, some 440 km from Cape Town and 160 km from George. The reserve provides the ideal destination for a malaria free family holiday, corporate getaway, or safari weekend. Nestled against the northern slopes of the mighty Swartberg Mountains, the reserve covers more than 10 300 hectares with no internal fencing. Your accommodation in the modern and luxurious lodge includes three hearty Karoo meals, as well as a professionally guided game drive daily or added activities to suit everyone’s needs.

STONE COTTAGES
Our three stone cottages are separately placed for guests who enjoy their own privacy. Each stone cottage has its own layout to suit everyone’s needs. With beautiful views overlooking the plains where wild animals roam free.

Our lodge includes most of the facilities that ensure your stay is relaxing. With an infinity pool for the warm summer days to cool off in, a pool table to keep the youngsters entertained, DSTV to watch sports or just to binge watch your favorite show and a library with comfortable seating where you can escape in your favorite novel.
A dining room that can seat up to 12 guests to share meals with your friends and family alongside an inside braai which always serves for the perfect atmosphere.
Free Wi-Fi is also included for our guests to make sure they can get in touch with the outside world.
An outside boma area ensures that guests get the best bush experience.

BUTCHERY & SLAUGHTER FACILITIES
Our slaughter facilities are well equipped to ensure a fast, effective, and hygienic slaughter operation. Our skinners are professionally trained to ensure they handle all trophies and meat accordingly and correct.
We have a fully operational butchery for meat processing that we use to provide venison for our guests to make sure they experience the taste of Africa. We also provide the service for our clients on their request. We will ensure you get the best quality products.
