WELCOME TO KLIPKOP
Unique. Traditional. Family.
The family-run farm Klipkop near Waterberg is one of the oldest and most traditional farms in Namibia. Our guests from all over the world have been coming to Namibia for decades and always enjoy coming to Klipkop. Already visible from afar through the impressive basalt cone, which gives the farm its name, it is centrally located on the B1 about 30km before Otjiwarongo and west of the Waterberg in the heart of Namibia. Experience typical Namibian farm life with us and enjoy an authentic and impressive safari stay. Daily game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, hikes around the “Klipkop” or rides on our horses guarantee unique experiences in nature. Relax during the day at our pool or on your own small terrace with a view of the waterhole,

For many guests it was a unique life experience and as soon as they hear the word “KlipKop”, unforgettable memories come back. It is the unique experience to be surrounded by untouched nature and wild animals. It’s the scents and the sounds. It’s the stories around the campfire under a clear starry sky.

Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets from our mountain platform with a view over the entire farm and let the day end comfortably by the campfire or in front of the open fireplace in a romantic atmosphere with dinner by candlelight.

KLIPKOP ANIMAL WORLD

The surprising mix of peace and adrenaline; the silence of the bush and the sudden surge of energy when wild animals gather at water holes. This is the magic of the African bush where you experience the unexpected.

The king of the farm is the leopard – although it rarely shows up, its tracks can be found everywhere in the sand. One of his favorite prey are the ubiquitous baboons which prefer to live on the rocks of the two Klipkop Mountains.

There is also a wide variety of antelopes – kudu, oryx, impala, springbok, ibex, eland, waterbuck, hartebeest, duiker, dik-dik, blue wildebeest and white-tailed wildebeest.

Not to forget our giraffes, mountain zebras, warthogs, ostriches as well as a multitude of smaller creatures and birds: turtledoves, porcupines, wild geese, ducks, guinea fowl, quails, pigeons and many more.

All animals shown here were photographed exclusively on Klipkop.
