Our mission is to strive with goodwill and total commitment to do everything in our power to ensure that the visitors to Badshoek enjoy an unforgettable nature experience, so that they can return to their normal lives psychologically refreshed.

Our Hunting Philosophy

The game camp consists of three areas, of +1- 3000Ha each. without inside fencing, where we operate on a grazing intensity of 50ha/LSU for conservation purposes. It is therefore not advisable to hunt according to the traditional “voorsit” method but rather do stalking from a vehicle, which is much more of a challenge, rewarding and a fair chase. We are however open to suggestions from the client. Hunters must take note that this method might need more time. We also cater for Bow hunters and give them special privileges as far as hunting hours and well situated hides ( 9) are concerned. Hunting with your camera is also advised and a good effort can get your photo in the album of fame.
There are many methods of shooting or harvesting game, but there is only one way of hunting. That is when you select your buck and stalk it until you come within a range where you can be fairly certain that you can kill it instantly.

The topography of Badshoek lends itself ideally to this method of hunting, so we strive to create this ideal. As this method requires a fair amount of skill, it also serves to create a much better feeling of achievement with the hunter.

Facilities
Hunting vehicles and rifles for hire, trained trackers, walkie-talkie radios, well equipped butchery with cooling facilities. Normal skinning, trophy skinning and processing of meat can be arranged.

Springbok, Koedoe, Gemsbok (Oryx), Redhartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Blesbuck, Black Wildebeest (White Tailed Gnu), Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grey Rhee buck, Mountain Rhee buck, Steenbok, Black Spring buck, Klipspringer, Duiker, Bontebok, Fellow dear, Eland, Bush-buck, Dassie, Ostrich, Partridge, Guinea- fowl, 3 species of hare, 100 plus species of Birds, 4 species of Jackals, 3 species of Wild Cats, 3 species of Mongoose, Baboons, Vervet Monkeys and more.
